Teen Book Club

We’re starting a teen book club! Are you passionate about books? Would you like to discuss what you’ve read with other teens that love books? Then come to our first meeting!

When: Thursday, September 20
Time: 6:00 pm
Where: Lawrence Public Library Gallery

At the first meeting you can pick up your copy of our first month’s selection, Perks of Being a Wallflower, a classic coming-of-age novel about a shy teen boy, told in the form of letters that read more like diary entries.

We will also discuss:

  • A name for our book club
  • Best dates and times for future meetings
  • Books we’ll read in the future

Open to teens in grades 6-12. Space is limited; please register by calling 785-843-3833  x121.
