Read Across America: YA Map of the USA

I’ve always wanted to visit every state in America, but so far, I’ve only about half way there. Luckily, if you read every book on this list, you can take a roadtrip across the country without ever leaving home! EpicReads asked their readers to help compile a list of a book set in each of the 50 states and they turned in into this handy map and list.

As cool as this is, we have better suggestions for Kansas reads (as good as The Wizard of Oz is…well, it’s kind of obvious and not necessarily YA).

The Sharp Time by Mary O’Connell takes place in Kansas City, so there are scenes on both the Missouri side and the Kansas side. Far from Xanadu by Julie Anne Peters takes place in a small Kansas town, as does Last Dance at the Frosty Queen by Richard Allen Uhlig.
