Teen NaNoWriMo Write-In

Is the great American novel burning inside you?  Join us in November for thirty days and nights of literary abandon in celebration of the National Novel Writing Month phenomenon!  From our Nov. 1 kickoff to the Nov. 28 finale and weekly Wednesday night write-ins in between, we’ll provide you with prompts, snacks and writers’ swag to keep your authorial flame burning all month long.

For this afternoon’s teen write-in at the library computer lab, you bring your thinking caps, and we’ll bring the computers, moral support, progress charts and plot ninjas.  Discouraged: self-doubt, self-criticism and other acts of self-bullying.  Encouraged: clunky dialogue, clichéd characters, deeply flawed plots and bragging rights.  Join Molly and other aspiring teen novelists in the computer lab and let your word count soar!

When: Saturday, November 17th
Where: Library Computer Lab
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Open to teens in 6th – 12th grades. Questions? Call (785) 843-3833 x121.
