You really make me want to find a copy and check it out. I also plan to look into the Daring Book for Girls. I think Olivia, age 13 next week, would love it. She might be a little on the “old” side for it, but I think it would still be a wonderful book to give her.

I liked your ending, mentioning the gyroscope, the horseshoe magnet, etc. Things I hadn’t thought about in years….
