Wednesday programs are just about to start! We’re partnering with some great local artists for this series. We’ll have Crazy Hat Day with KT Walsh and Printing with Food taught by Kelly Kearns (just to name a couple). We hope you can join us on your early out day!
Many programs now require registration, so be sure to call ahead and get your child on the list. Call 785-843-3833 to register or email email@example.com. We will cap registration at 30 people, so be sure to call early!
First up we have Crazy Hat Day for K-6th graders with KT Walsh on February 20th! KT is known for her boisterous spirit and work with the Percolator art space. She has helped lots of children create crazy hats in South Park over the years, so we’ve got an expert on our hands! She’ll bring over a truckload of her supplies for the group to use, so don’t miss this fun event (it runs from 3:30-5:00 pm in the Library event space)!
Up next is Printing with Food! on February 27. Local artist Kelly Kearns will lead this playful program for K-3rd graders. See what cool art you can make with everyday food like potatoes and carrots! Come at 3:30 pm for an hour of fun.
We’ll kick off March with Duct Tape Crafts! Library staffers Kim and Karen will assist 9 to 12 year olds in projects that test the limits of duct tape. Kids can try making a flower, a wallet and anything else that duct tape can mold to! We’ll meet on March 6 at 3:30 pm for this sticky program.
Keep an eye on our calendar to learn about other great Wednesday programs!
