Banned Book Trading Cards

Calling all artists for the 3rd annual Banned Book Trading Cards! Each year at the Lawrence Public Library, we celebrate the freedom to read by combining art and literature. We’re¬†sending out a Call for Artists asking people in the community to submit their original artwork for any banned or challenged book. Seven winners will be selected to turn into limited edition trading cards, to be given out to the Lawrence community during Banned Books Week (Sept. 21-27). Our 2012 and 2013 trading cards can be purchased here.
