Banned Book Trading Cards-Call for Artists

Banned Books Week (September 24th – 30th) celebrates the freedom to read by highlighting the attempted or actual banning of books in the US and overseas. A panel of judges will select seven submissions for printing and distribution. You can pick up a new card each day of the week at the library Welcome Desk, or at the Lawrence Arts Center. Winners will be announced at our unveiling party on Friday, September 22nd from 5-6 pm in our auditorium.

Submissions will be on display during Banned Books Week. Artists can pick up their work on Monday, October 2nd.
