Roger Spohn works with large and medium format equipment, and is drawn to any subject that holds some geologic, historic, natural or purely aesthetic significance. A native of Kansas, he enjoys the documentation and artistic interpretation of its varied regions and unique features, as well as of its agricultural and rural qualities. When possible, he also visits other Midwestern State and National Parks to photograph and share those unique landscapes. That some of his work might aid in the documentation, protection or preservation of any such worthy subject is undoubtedly his greatest aspiration.

Lower Level

"Creative Pleasures" is about having fun with photography, whether it is dewdrops from a morning mist or a macro shot of a flower stamen. It is about creating an image that elicits a response from the viewer. Exhibited works "O'Keefish 1" and "2" are perfect examples of this. Enjoy the exhibit!
