What is it about or what kind of music is it? Pop music but with a lot of acoustic guitars. Ingrid has a beautiful voice that doesn’t need auto tune because it is already perfect!! She just came out with her 5th album and the hit Girls Chase Boys Chase Girls. She reminds me a bit of Sara Bareilles’ style.

What did you think of it & why did you pick it up: I love it!!! She in my favorite musician ever!!! Each of her 5 albums are amazing. The songs are super catchy; consider yourself warned. I picked it up because my cousin was telling me how great she was and suggested that I listen to her. I am so glad that I did!

What is it about or what kind of music is it? Hold is about this kid Stanly that got sent to this detention facility called camp green lake and they have to dig a hole 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. One every day and this particular kid Stanly is under a curse that began with his no-good-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. There is no lake at camp green lake. Stanly realizes that there is no character improvement going on here. But that the warden is looking for something. And Stanly finds it and then he runs away from the camp to get the curse off of his family and he does.

What did you think of it & why did you pick it up: I loved it very much and I think every one should read it. And my brother tolled me to read it.

What is it about or what kind of music is it? It’s R&B mixed with a bit of 80’s pop and some soul.

What did you think of it & why did you pick it up: I loved it. His first album was better. But, dosen’t that always happen. I heard about it cause I heard Locked out of Heaven on the radio. I avoided it for a while cause that song is so diffrent from his first album. Then, I heard “When I was Your Man and Treasure”  and decided to listen to it.

What did you think of it & why did you pick it up? I thought it was great, but I read all of Chris Crutcher’s books. This one happens to be the newest release by Chris Crutcher.
