Books and Babies
For ages 8 to 23 months and their families.
Mondays: 10:30am
Wednesdays: 9:30, 10:10, and 10:40am
in the Auditorium
(no B&B Dec. 19 through Jan. 18)
Books & Babies is a sharing time for the child, adult, and any siblings that would like to come. Stories, nursery rhymes, fingerplays and songs. In the Auditorium, no
registration required.
Toddler Storytime
For 2 year olds and their families.
Tuesdays and Fridays: 9:30-10:00 and 10:30-11:00am
in the Auditorium
(No Toddlers Dec. 20 through Jan. 20, but on Jan. 10, 13, 17 and 20 come to Fun With Food storytimes for ages 2 and up, at 10:30am)
We feature stories, fingerplays, songs, poems, and followup ideas to take home. You will sit with the your child and join in the fun. No registration required.
Library Storytime
For ages 3 and up and their families.
Tuesdays and Fridays: 10:30-11:00am
Thursdays: 7:00-7:30pm
in the Children's Room
(No Library Storytimes Dec. 20 through Jan. 20, but on Jan. 10, 13, 17 or 20 come to Fun With Food storytimes for ages 2 and up, at 10:30am in the Auditorium)
Stories are selected around a weekly theme, and told through different formats: books, flannel board, clothesline and Big Books. A simple craft follows. No registration
required.
Storytime in Spanish and English for all ages.
Saturdays: 10:30-11:00am
in the Children's Room
(no Storytime Dec. 24 through Jan. 14, mark your calendar for Jan. 21!)
Stories, puppets and songs in Spanish, aimed at learners and speakers. No registration required.
German Storytime
Tuesdays, 4-4:30pm
January 31 to April 10 (no meeting March 20)
Stories and entertainment for learners and speakers of all ages, presented by Friedemann Eisert, retired German teacher from Lawrence Public Schools.
Family Storytime
Sundays, 3:30-4:00pm
in the Children's Room
(No storytimes Dec. 25 and Jan. 1)
Stories followed by a simple craft. Spend a bit of family time at the Library!
No registration required.

MOVIE BOOK CLUB
For 8 to 12 year olds.
Join us to talk about the book... and then watch the movie!
One Sunday a month, 1-3pm in the Auditorium.
The January 15 title is Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson.
Feb. 19, Mar. 18, Apr. 15: books to be announced later.
