Skillbuilders: Feeling Fit–Exercise & You
A 10-week series of programs for those who are experiencing loss: from death, divorce, physical limitations, a move to a new location or any other transition. Making decisions or daily activities during this time can be challenging. Skillbuilders provides resources, support and encouragement.
Week 6: Feeling Fit–Exercise & You Physical activity can relieve tension and clear the mind when transitions occur. Keeping fit can also help to alleviate physical aches & pains due to emotional distress. This session will demonstrate and talk about how simple exercises, including walking, can be done at home.
