Community Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

Come out for food, music, and fun to celebrate lighting the menorah with the Chabad Jewish Center on Sunday, DEC 17 from 4-6 PM in our Auditorium.

Jews around the world will begin lighting the menorah (and marking the beginning of Hanukkah) on Tuesday night, DEC 12. The holiday lasts for eight days and ends on DEC 20.

Amazing Olive Press Storytime—Back by Popular Demand!

All ages are invited to hear the Rabbi Zalman Teichtel tell the Hanukkah story, and later help squeeze olive oil and make wicks to use in a Menorah!

Join us Friday, December 15th from 10:30-11:15 AM in our Readers’ Theater. The space fills up quickly, so get here as soon as possible.

Let There Be Light!

Join us for Rabbi Zalman Teichtel’s annual holiday storytime.

On Friday, DEC 15 from 10:30–11:45 AM, we’ll hear the story of Hanukkah, press olives for oil, make wicks, and then light the holiday Menorah!

This Friday, Dec 16 from 10:30- 11:15 AM, we’re hosting, Rabbi Zalman Teichtel who will join us for his annual holiday storytime in the Readers’ Theater. We will squeeze olive oil and make a wick to use in a menorah for Hanukkah!
