Tales of Two Americas with John Freeman, Sarah Smarsh, & Whitney Terrell

A conversation based around Freeman’s upcoming Tales of Two Americas. This collection of writing, edited by Freeman, explores inequality issues in the United States and is a follow-up to the 2014 collection Tales of Two Cities. Freeman, Smarsh, and Terrell will talk about their own contributions to a work that “showcases the literary world’s response to inequality with stories and essays on immigration, racial injustice, gender, and greed in America today.” Source:

Author Talk with Molly Krause

On Thursday, May 12 from 7-8:30 PM in the Auditorium, local restaurateur and cookbook author, Molly Krause, takes a walk into the realms of fiction with her new book, Joy Again.

The story follows the journey of a woman grappling with the aftermath of her husband’s unexpected, and mysterious death.

Raven Book Store will be on hand to sell books, and Molly will stick around to sign them.
