Kansas Reads to Preschoolers Week + Storywalk

From November 13–19, we’re celebrating the importance of reading in the lives of young Kansans with special storytimes at the library and a downtown Lawrence Storywalk©.

This year’s Storytime pick is Bear Sees Colors by Karma Wilson and we’ll read it at every Storytime.

Special events include a Storytime visit from KSHB weatherman, Gary Lezak, and his dog Sunny on Tuesday, Nov 15, and an all-ages walk down Mass Street.

Grab a Storywalk© map at the Children’s Desk, look for pages of Bear Sees Colors in various businesses, then return your map for entry into a prize drawing at the end of the week!
