While we’re out of our normal digs, we’ll be all about town bringing you fabulous programming to get inside your head with events about art, science, fitness, and more from May 28 – August 19. Reuse, Recycle, Reinvent.
Bring in your stuff and swap it for something new! Clothing, accessories, room decor…as long as it’s in good shape, we’ll set it up for the swap. Tickets will be awarded for items submitted which can be used to “purchase” items that other teens have brought to the meet.

Have your cake and READ it too! Create a work of art inspired by Harry Potter completely out of food, bring it to the library, and enter it into our show. Everyone who attends will judge the entries. Prizes will be awarded for: best in show and most edible.

See it here first! Catch a glimpse of the show before it hits the stage. Come to the Cabaret! Lawrence Arts Center Summer Youth Theater presents this Broadway favorite. The decadence of Berlin in the late 1920s and early ’30s serves as the backdrop for this Broadway classic by Kander and Ebb. Based on the John Van Druten play, “I am a Camera,” this fascinating musical explores the effect of the rise of Nazi Germany on the lives of everyday people. Directed by Diana Dresser with choreography by Barb Wasson.
