Teens’ Top Ten Voting Going on Now

Now through October 19, you can vote for your favorite YA book of the year! The Teens’ Top Ten is a “teen choice” list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in sixteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on Celebrate Teen Literature Day, the Thursday of National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages twelve to eighteen will vote online between August 15 and Teen Read Week at; the winners will be announced the week after Teen Read Week.

Teens’ Top Ten Nominees Announced!

The nominees for YALSA’s Teens’ Top Ten have been announced! The Teens’ Top Ten is a “teen choice” list where every title is nominated and voted on by teens. Teens across the country can read them all summer; voting will take place Aug. 15 – Sept. 15 via YALSA’s brand new Teens’ Top Ten site for teens at, and the winners will be announced during Teen Read Week in October.
